Please continue to pray for Lisa...

Lisa will start her radiation treatments tomorrow, (actually Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!)
While it is a blessing that this round of radiation is only 3 treatments, each one is an hour long. An HOUR! I can't even imagine having to hold PERFECTLY still for that long, but that is exactly what she has to do. So, please pray with us for her this week, I know her appointments are in the afternoon, 2:30, I think...
I will update if I hear anything else!
Thanks!

I've been thinking about Lisa a lot lately.Thank you for giving us an update on her. Is she doing chemo? What stage was her cancer? Where has it spread to?

Cameo,
First off I want to say that I am so sorry for your loss. Cancer hurts so many people, I hate it! I hope you and your family are starting to heal, though I know this hurt will last a lifetime.
Lisa had breast cancer 2 1/2 years ago,had a double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation, and at that point they called it stage 2. Now...Lisa has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She will be on a monthly dose of chemo. At this point her cancer is "contained" in her spine, and with this new radiation they feel they may be able to get what was left after the surgery.
Thanks for thinking of her!
