so, what's next?

Well, we now have to wait for Luisa's birth certificate to be changed.  Normally, that could be done in a day, but, since she was not born in this city, we have to send a driver to pick it up.  If you remember, when we were waiting for her to arrive, the roads from her birthplace to here are so bad that they must take a different route.  Unfortunately, that route takes around 4 or 5 hours.  So, it will be a 2 day trip, and they said to plan on either Tuesday or Wednesday for it to arrive.  Which is fine, we signed up to go to a club for the next few days to swim and hang out.  Once we have the birth certificate in hand, we will then fly to Bogota, once there we will have a Dr. appointment for Luisa, and also file our paperwork with the US Embassy to apply for her visa so she can enter the US.  The next day we will pick up her visa and then we can fly home!!!  No idea how long the steps in Bogota will take, but either way we see the light at the end of the tunnel and we are so excited to get home!

Congratulations! Blessing to you and your family and God Speed for a quick turn around on the BC. We got a response to the LOI on Thursday after about 4 weeks, I think it is good?? not really sure, seems a bit like a form letter, but is suppose to do the trick! We will just have to have FAITH! Still waiting on the elusive FBI clearance, phyc. report said we are sane, so the FBI is the last piece of dossier before we can send it off!
