So, what's the big deal?

Asks Luisa...

She's sad because all she wants to do is go play outside....
But, she can't figure out why no one wants to join her {for very long,} while she jumps on the trampoline....
hmmm...
wait for it...
Oh, there it is...
 The dreaded cry!
She doesn't cry often, but when she does...she really has at it!
What she doesn't understand is that while she may be used to all this heat, we are not!    Poor baby!
*She did, by the way, get to jump on the tramp!  Her brothers are suckers for her tears, and once they realized what she wanted, they took her back outside, for a little bit ;)

Hi Ryan and Stacy, I couldn't find an email address but wanted to contact you. I have a blog about colombia - www.littlecolombiaobservationist.com and I often post interviews. I came across your blog and the story of your family touched me. I thought it would be wonderful to interview someone who has gone through the adoption process in Colombia as you did with Luisa. Would you be interested? It would be through email - 10 questions, a photo of your family together and maybe one of Liusa by herself. Let me know what you think. It would be nice to hear from you.

On a side note, have you read the book "Twice Colombia" by Patricia Woodard? It's about adopting her colombian son in the 80s. Thought you might be interested.

Paste the word "sucker" across my forehead! We were at the cousins this weekend and they gave our kids a brilliant idea..if its too hot to jump, just put a sprinkler under the trampoline so the water comes through the bottom! It's a GREAT idea if you want to add 3-4 additional clothes changes to the already huge pile of laundry every day!
